Nothing to take an egg off for as it took all of 3 seconds to figure out. Unique "theme".Ĭons: The side panels are a bit tight and takes a little thought to close them. The bottom line is this case is very flexible, well built, and oriented for builders and tinkerers.

I put two 120 fans in the bottom, moved the included 120 plus added another 120 to the front panel instead of leaving them on the backs of the drive cages. The steel feels solid and allows me to stick magnets to it. I taped up the window grates with clear packing tape and it improved airflow from front to back/ bottom to top and also dropped noise levels noticeably. Overall Review: I had to order an 8-pin extension to reach my MB's aux. One MB standoff was missing as many others have stated on Corsair forums, and they are taller than standard standoffs so I just left that one out of my build. The power supply mounted in the bottom needs extra long cables to reach the auxiliary MB power connectors at the top of most MBs. Definitely the easiest case to work on that I've ever used.Ĭons: Almost too many holes for all the fans. Handles on top for moving the case are super convenient, as are the latches that hold on the side panels. Room up top for a 240mm OR 280mm radiator. Pros: Very Spacious, Great HD cages that are removable, USB3, cool power & reset buttons, room for 9 fans total, no sharp edges, industrial strength all-steel construction (even the face), dust filters built in and easily removable for cleaning, plenty of room behind MB tray for cable routing + grommets on all cable routing holes. Included USB 3.0 to USB 2.0 internal adapter for legacy support.Īdditional Information Date First Available Side panel window with dual 120mm / 140mm fan mounts. One front and dual bottom dust filters to keep your case interior clean. Three included 120mm fans, two intake and one exhaust.ĬPU backplate cutout makes it easy to swap out your CPU cooler without removing the motherboard.Įight PCI-E slots for multi-GPU expansion. Six SSD-ready hard drive trays, in two removable cages.

This system would look perfect as a Battlefield 4 or Call of Duty box. The final product certainly has that extremely weathered look. This included removing the heat spreaders from his Vengeance memory.Īfter the removal, keenan used a special process (detailed in his build log) to achieve the descired look on the spreaders. He took the extra time and effort to apply and aged and weathered look to the entire build. Keenan used the appropriate paints but was apparently not content just to work with simple paint colors. There was a lot of custom power cabling done on this rig. Keenan even went as far as to sleeve the SATA cables. Project Marshlands is a military themed build with desert camo coloring. He has taken dozens of pictures documenting his build process for Project Marshlands.
